How to deal with COVID-19

So...let's be real I've been to the kitchen so many times in this isolation period I am waiting for the government to start charging me entry HAHA 😂!! In all seriousness though this is a time no one saw coming, let's leave the conspiracy theories alone for a second 😉. This is a hard period for many. Our routines have come to a stand still, our lives have been turned upside down, fear has become a large cloud that is disrupting our consciousness and is spreading like a disease (even more so than Corona IMO) I mean come on people are fighting over toilet paper! When low key most of y'all are constipated and not even emptying on a daily basis honey boo boo, so no need to punch anyone in the face for toilet paper 😮.
But...this is entirely my point. As we can see many of our sentient brothers and sisters are caught in the mind trap of fear. They are programmed and conditioned to behave in the ways we are seeing. Our Collective Consciousness needs individuals to breathe, be still, meditate, choose love from an empowered place and shift this energy out towards others so they can also understand they have a choice in their behaviour. Whether you are new to energy or well versed in understanding how energy works this is our time to extend an invitation out to others to understand there is a very different way available to live life. Free from stress and worry being a 24/7 mind loop interfering with your ability to life to the fullest and manifest everything that you want and in my opinion is already yours and is just waiting for you to get on the right frequency in body and mind to receive it.
So these are my 5 tips during this chaotic unforeseen time:
1. Meditate Daily (even twice a day morning/night)
I use Spotify and listen to 432 Hz. Look, it may sound woo woo to you but this shit works. It lowers blood pressure, reduces anxiety and stress. The spiritual meaning behind this sound may be too much for some to take in but think of it as the sound or vibration of the Universe and when you listen to it you are realigning to your true nature wow right?! 😻 Don't forget to BREATHE, 10 deep belly breaths!! Sooth that central nervous system, oh yeah baby!
2. Move your Body Daily
The Gym has always been my place to get my mind right. I train for my mental health to shift energy and reduce my stress by releasing those endorphins. As we all know the gym is closed...therefore this is an opportune time to try home work outs or walking around the block whilst maintaining that 1.5m distance!!! Exercise is a creative process make a little HIIT circuit for yourself here's a freebie my go to sweat sesh:
* 20 walking lunges (10 steps one way then turn around and do another 10 steps) hold weights if you've got them!
* 15 squat jumps
* 12 kettle bell swings (if you have weights) or hold a wall sit for 30-45 seconds
* 10 jack knives (google it, yes they're tough but VERY effective hiiiiii abs 😎)
* 10 burpees
Repeat 3 times and i'm pretty sure you'll be sweaty AF
3. Focus on Nutrients! (Fibre, fibre, fibre, protein, protein, protein!!)
Look, have I eaten my weight in Tim Tams yes I have 🤣 but I know this will lead to weight gain and a very crappy mood long term. No judgement what's done is done. It's about understanding the choice and power of the present moment to choose something different. The most powerful moment is the one you're living in right now, not the past and not the future, it's in the NOW. So CHOOSE to operate differently, make a choice and action it. 4. Create Structure
Your day needs a routine, with all the upheaval you need to set out your day. Of course we all need rest periods and juicy naps, but they do need to be scheduled or you're binge watching Tiger King (I don't get the f'ing hype tbh) on Netflix and you've eaten all the snacks and you feel like a potato. Did I feel like writing this blog post...no I didn't but here I am honouring a commitment not because I 'feel' like it I don't but it needs to get done and this is the opportune time! I learnt this a few years ago with with my then Psychologist if you wait to 'feel' like doing something you'll be waiting forever, just fucking do it, seriously JUST DO IT! Write some ACHIEVABLE goals (I write mine on the mirror in my room) focus your energy to them DAILY and smash them! An idle mind the Devil's play ground remember that!
5. Be Kind to yourself, Tune out everyone else's voice and tune into YOUR inner knowing voice
Look, I'm going to tell you a secret...all of my clients already know what's best for them. Shocking right but in the first 10-15 minutes of our consult you've already told me what you need to do. Yes I guide you and help you, most certainly I do, it brings me great pleasure to be of assistance and see you grow 🦋. BUT! Truthfully you ALREADY KNOW what's best for you! To get in touch with yourself however you need to silence the NOISE. Instagram, Facebook, TV, Snapchat whatever or whoever is interfering with your ability to see yourself clearly needs to go! They cannot occupy space in your head without paying rent. Love yourself enough to challenge limiting beliefs be curious without judgement about where they come from and choose to just love yourself. It's a decision in all honestly. To love yourself in all your uniqueness, in all your vibrance and just be your fucking self, it takes COURAGE. No one else is like you or feels like you, so LOVE YOURSELF and be KIND with yourself, like you're a new born baby, be that gentle, that kind when you mess up or stuff up otherwise honey, you'll stay in that self berating loop and it'll drain your energy, your essence and your drive. Focus on the positive things about yourself and others and watch your World grow, exponentially 🌟!
